What’s hot in electronic music
Over the last ten years 5 Days Off has become a city-wide festival and aims to show a wide spectrum of what is happening in electronic music today. Spread over three of Amsterdam’s best venues, each of which is an amazing place in itself and worth a visit no matter what, and each bringing its own special and unique experience to the table.
The world famous Paradiso proudly presents new beats including dub step, hip-hop and electro-beat, whereas the Melkweg hosts the modern disco sounds. Before the nighttime program kicks off, the festival presents an art program in De Balie. This program showcases film, photography, media art, graphic design, fashion, and lifestyle in combination with electronic music.
If you’re planning a visit to Amsterdam in early March, this event's great range of music styles combined with spectacular media art performances is surely worth catching until the very last beat.
