Perspective The Netherlands

In collaboration with Rotterdam Partners, NBTC’s annual travel trade business and networking event Perspective The Netherlands 2027/2028 took place in Rotterdam on 10 September 2026, followed by an inspiring FAM trip on 11 September.

Participants can look forward to a dynamic day filled with pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings between Dutch tourism suppliers and tour operators from Germany, Belgium as well as the United Kingdom. The programme offers plenty of opportunities for informal networking and inspiring exchanges throughout the day.

Looking back at Rotterdam 2026

During the event, 55 tour operators from Germany, Belgium and the UK engaged in one-to-one meetings with 51 Dutch suppliers representing cities and regions (DMOs), incoming tour operators, hotels and accommodation providers, attractions and transport companies, as well as tour guides. The focus was on establishing new contacts, strengthening existing relationships and discussing opportunities for future collaboration, as well as innovative itineraries.

The participants enjoyed a dynamic and inspiring day, combining a full programme of engaging meetings with memorable experiences in the heart of Rotterdam.

Set against the spectacular skyline of the city, the event took place at Celest Skybar, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Rotterdam and beyond. During the lunch break, participants stepped away from the meeting room for a one-hour cruise with Royal Spido, discovering the vibrant city from a unique perspective on the water.

The day continued into the evening with an exclusive visit to the Depot of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen. Surrounded by an extraordinary collection of art, participants had the opportunity to explore this fascinating cultural landmark before enjoying a special dinner in an inspiring setting—providing the perfect atmosphere for further networking, meaningful conversations, and shared experiences.
