Museums and attractions
Climb the 465 steps of the Dom tower or go underground and visit Dom under at Dom square. It’s a real treasury, from the remains of the Roman castellum a few metres under the ground. The exploratory expedition takes you to the visible and invisible traces from the past. Utrecht is also the home of the infamous Miffy and The Rietveld Schröderhuis, a definite must-visit!
Eat & drink
Utrecht has a lot of restaurants and terraces in the city centre. Whether you like laid-back cafeteria-style places or high-end restaurants, Utrecht has a lot of options. When privacy is a priority you can private dine at many restaurants. For an after-meeting-drink you can relax at one of the busy bars with views over the canals.
Go for a beer tasting at Oudaen City Castle; the beers are served in the medieval hall graced with beams, chandeliers and vast fireplaces. Or do something really different: Trajectum Lumen is an expedition in the dark, taking in artistically lit locations in the magnificent Utrecht city centre.
