The Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam is a must see. It is the biggest museum of modern and contemporary art and design in the Netherlands. The original building has recently been completely renovated and extended with a spectacular new wing, and since it reopened in 2012 it has been a huge hit with visitors.

The Stedelijk offers top works of art from the greatest artists in the world, including a lot of work from Dutch 20th Century artists.
