Nightlife in Nijmegen
Pub tour
If you just want to have a beer and a chat, there are plenty of authentic ‘brown cafes’ or pubs. Café Samson (Houtstraat 4) with its hundreds of beer types, for instance. Or De Blaauwe Hand (behind the Hoofdwacht 3), the oldest pub in the city. We also recommend Café Camelot (Grote Markt 37) or, for the students among you, Bascafé (Betouwstraat 16).
Dance, dance, dance...
If you are looking for more lively entertainment and perhaps some dancing, Nijmegen has a rich variety of clubs. These are found primarily on Molenstraat. Check out NDRGRND (Molenstraat 99a) or Malle Babbe (Molenstraat 79). And if you prefer live music, see which bands are on at Doornroosje (Stationsplein 11). There is always something going on in Nijmegen, but do remember to get in before 4 in the morning. Venues are not allowed to let you in after that.
