1 out of 1 visitors find this information valuable.

Who will overtake who in the Tarzan corner, which tires will produce the greatest amount of smoke, and who will open the champagne bottle on the winner’s stage? The outcome of the Heineken Dutch Grand Prix cannot be predicted but what is certain, is that it will be a grand spectacle. After 35 years, the Formule 1 engines are back to roaring on the Zandvoort racetrack.

  • Stinging vapors, roaring engines and cars flashing by, experience this spectacle for the senses.
  • See how top drivers chase each other through the corners at Circuit Zandvoort.
  • Come face to face with sports heroes like Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton.

It is the first time in 35 years that a Formula 1 race will be held in the Netherlands. The last time was in 1985, when triple world champion Niki Lauda took the title on the racetrack in Zandvoort.

Circuit surrounded by sand dunes

The Grand Prix will ask everything of the drivers’ skills. The track of Circuit Zandvoort is full of changing corners, the Tarzan corner being the most famous. This 180 degrees turn at the end of the straight part is perfect for takeover maneuvers.

Tickets and accessibility

The GP draws a huge crowd from Holland and abroad. The organizers are expecting some 200,000 visitors in three days. To avoid traffic chaos in Zandvoort, cars will be guided to parking lots as soon as they exit the surrounding highways. Under normal circumstances, Zandvoort is easily reached by train. With an eye to the expected crowds, additional transport measures will be taken.
