Golfbaan de Texelse

Golfbaan De Texelse is one of only six Dutch links courses that have the rugged character of a true sand dune course. Dunes, marram grass, water traps and large greens make the course a pleasure to play.

Both experienced golfers and enthusiastic beginners are welcome to hit the links at Golfbaan De Texelse, a unique course in the middle of the dunes on Texel.

Dunes, wind and other natural elements

Experts describe this beautiful golf location on Texel as an outstanding course to prepare for links courses in Scotland and Ireland. The North Sea is less than a kilometer away and you can almost always hear the crash of the surf in the background. The wind is also always in play and the southwesterly in particular demands a tactically smart approach to the greens.

There are enough natural elements typical for this island golf course that make playing it a real challenge. Players can practice their swing on the driving range or their putting on the putting and chipping greens, while the par-3 course can be used to improve technique.

Welcome to Texel

The ambience at De Texelse is warm and friendly; non-members and beginners are welcome to take lessons or sign up for clinics. It is an attractive option for businesses and families to hit the links under the watchful eye of a golf pro. The golf course has been expanded to 18 holes in the summer of 2012.
